Alpha1 is an optional, supplemental learning tool that PTAA students can use any time as a friendly AI co-teacher and homework & assignment helper. It works alongside our teachers and classrooms—never in place of them.
Alpha1 is completely optional. It is a supplemental support tool—like a tutor your child can visit any time. Students are never required to use it, and it does not replace classroom instruction, teachers, or assignments. Families choose if and how their student uses it.
Alpha1 is an AI-powered education platform aligned to TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills) and national standards. PTAA offers it to students as an extra layer of support: stuck on homework at 9 p.m., reviewing for a test, or wanting to go deeper on a topic from class—Alpha1 is there to help explain, practice, and build confidence.
Walks students through problems step by step in plain language—so they learn the “why,” not just the answer.
Matched to TEKS and the subjects PTAA teaches, from early literacy and math through AP-level coursework.

Chloe is Alpha1’s friendly AI tutor—available 24/7 for one-on-one help across every subject. She explains ideas in different ways until they click, draws diagrams to make concepts visual, adapts to how each student learns, and can communicate in multiple languages.
Alpha1 aligns to TEKS, Common Core, and NGSS—covering the subjects PTAA students study every day.
From early counting and arithmetic through Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and AP-level math.
Biology, chemistry, physics, earth & environmental science, and AP lab sciences.
Phonics and early literacy through grammar, composition, literature analysis, and AP rhetoric.

How access works: PTAA provides Alpha1 to enrolled students as part of our school program, and parents have free access to use Alpha1 at home—so learning support continues beyond the classroom at no cost to families.
